Welcome to the NAIHL Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). This is a pretty basic group of questions. If you have any suggestions for new entries you think might be helpful in the FAQ, let us know.
Q: Where do I send my lines?
A: Send your lines to
linez©nb.sympatico.ca.
Q: I just made trade, where do I send it ?
A: Use the Trade Submission form located in the Members Area. Both GMs must submit the
trade using this form.
Q: Where can I find info on my players and prospects?
A: There are many sites on the Internet that provide info on your players. Some are
hockeydb.com ,
hockeysfuture.com,
faceoff.com, and
nhl.com.
Q: What happens when players not drafted in NAIHL appear in NHL?
A: Players who appear in the NAIHL and were not drafted in the NAIHL are entered into the NAIHL Dispersal Draft, held prior to each season. This is a way to allow more talent to filter down to the 'have not' teams.
Q: I want to make some money and contribute to the league, what can I do?
A: A good way of doing this is to write articles for the website. For each article that gets published on the website you get $250,000 for that month for your team. You can submit your article through the 'Submit News' link at the top of the website.
Of course if you want to contribute more on a regular basis you can always contact the Board, who can discuss a regular feature or column with you.
Q: I have some ideas on how the rules should be changed for next season. Where do I send these?
A: All ideas and input on things are welcome! Please send your ideas to the Board of Directors. They will review all suggestions, and if your suggestion makes sense to improve the league, it may be implemented.
Q: I feel that I've been badly treated by a member of this league, what do I do?
A: If such an unfortunate situation should happen, you please contact the Board of Directors and it will be investigated.
Q: I'm having trouble getting the STHS Editor to work under Windows XP or Windows Vista. How do I fix this?
A: Make sure you install the Support.msi file first, and then move the STHSClient.exe file into the directory where the Support.mis file was installed. If you are still having issues, visit the STHS website at
sths.simont.info. Vista-specific installation help is at
sths forum .
Q: Is there a version of the STHS Editor for Linux or Mac?
A: There is currently no version of the STHS Editor for Linux or Mac, but there are tools for both operating systems that will allow you to run Windows programs. Linux has free software called Wine that will allow you to run many Windows programs, while on the Mac you can use Bootcamp, Parallels, or VMWare.
